Calgary to Banff - Alberta Canada

The Banff Springs Hotel is one of the well known landmarks of the Canadian Rockies and was built in 1887 originally as a railway hotel with only a fraction of the rooms it has now. You couldn't get a nicer outlook could you, but it was not until 1914 that it was completely renovated so that the rooms faced the mountains, rather than the other way around. The hotel is located right near Bow Falls and the thermal springs.
