Yoho National Park, British Columbia

Further along as the river flattens out a little, you can see the silt being carried down the Kicking Horse River making it a milky colour. According to the story, the river was named in 1858, when a member of the Palliser Expedition, was kicked by his packhorse while exploring the river.
