Yoho National Park, British Columbia

We took one of the short walks up to Hamilton Falls then decided to hike the Emerald Lake Circuit which is flat and only 5 km long. This trail has views of the majestic mountains across the beautiful glacier fed Emerald Lake with interesting birds and vegetation along the way. The lake is covered with ice for a lot of the year but in summer canoeing seems to be a popular pastime. Select the photo to see a different view of the lake and mountains.
