Banff National Park, Alberta

As we skirted around Minnewanka Lake we had a great view of Mt Costigan OR was it Mt Aylmer (not sure which!). Mt Aylmer is the highest mountain in this area of Banff National Park at 3,162m but couldn't locate it in the clouds. It is 11km from Mt Costigan which is 2979m high. The water is lovely and blue and many people were out boating on Lake Minnewanka but we are told that the lake is still frozen over in May.
