Roadtrip - Part 1, Cania Gorge, Queensland to Alice Springs, NT

Left for Hervey Bay at 3.15pm and stayed with relatives until the 8th August before setting off for Childers. At this stage we had not decided where to spend the night. We went through Gayndah and noticed that there are off road camping sites either end. This could be handy to remember for the future. We decided to go on to Cania Gorge so drove through Monto and on to Cania arriving in the afternoon. The birds were very used to campers. This one decided to perch on our caravan door.
