Cruise Skagway to Sitka- Alaska

200m from the ship we find ourselves in the main street. There are lots of jewellery stores in particular so I bought some Inukshuk earings. Apparently it means 'likeness of person' and was used by the Inuit people to mark their trails using rocks. Everyone recognises this symbol now since it was used as the Winter Olympics symbol for Vancouver Games 2010.
