Cruise Juneau to Ketchikan - Alaska

The salmon run in Ketchikan creek occurs later in the summer so we were there just before they really got started. You could see some of the salmon just 'resting' in the creek as they acclimatised to the fresh water after spending most of their life in saltwater. This is the creek diversion into the Deer Mountain Fish Hatchery.
