In the 1570s, the monks from Ratac Abbey were dispersed and the main buildings destroyed by the Ottomans. Further destruction occurred in WW11 then the Yugoslav military in the 1950s. Now only the vaults around the altar of the former church are preserved amongst the ruins. Select the photo below to see more.
