UK and Europe Roadtrip - Perast

There are two small islands out from Perast in Kotor Bay. St Đorđe (St George) Island is a natural island whereas Gospa od Škrpjela (Lady of the Rocks) is man made. Legend has it that a sailor found a Statue of Mary on a rocky outcrop here. Each time seamen passed they added more rocks. Every year locals continue the tradition.
