Wind Farm

This wind farm is built on Windy Hill - very aptly named as you can see by the trees. They are 44 metre tubular steel towers weighing 33 tonnes each. They have 22 metre blades which impressed us but the cows grazed beneath them oblivious to all this power. This was our last stop on the Atherton Tablelands. Next we headed along the 'Savannah Way' towards Cobbold Gorge then onto Karumba on The Gulf.
