UK and Europe Roadtrip - Eiger Glacier

The Eiger Glacier Station is at the top left of photo. All of this area would look totally different in winter when it is covered entirely with deep snow. All through the year, the cog railway runs steeply up through a tunnel from here to the Jungfraujoch. Select the photo below to see the train tunnel and look closely between the tracks to see the row of cogs that provide the traction on this steep track.
