The high altar and choir, built in the late 1400s, is extravagantly decorated. This three-nave basilica has paintings and frescos done by famous artists of the late 1600s and early 1700s. The entrails and heart of Emperor Frederick III were buried here in 1493 in the choir. His body lies in Vienna Cathedral. Select the photo below to see more of Linz Parish Church.
