Binna Burra, Lamington National Park, Queensland

This tunnel and cemented path go through to the cave. I was told that years ago, local Aboriginal people from the lowlands visited the uplands to hunt game and gather berries and other forest foods. During festive and ceremonial occasions, this was a common 'travelling through' ground. The Kweebani (cooking) Cave survives today but as you can see the access to it is not as the aboriginal people would have left it.
