Boyd River Region, Old Glen Innes Grafton Highway, NSW

This area below was quite near our campsite and good for the canoe. The Canadian Canoes (3 seaters) are quite long so going gets tough if the river narrows and turns sharply. We had friends drive our 4WDs with canoes 15kms up the river and drop us off so we could canoe back to the campsite. Although many part of the river are a lot better suited to a kayak we managed to canoe it with only having to get out twice in the rockiest areas to manoevre over the rapids.
