Boyd River Region, Old Glen Innes Grafton Highway, NSW

We cut back towards camp just north of Nymboida coming out on the Old Grafton to Glen Innes Road near Buccarumbi. The Nymboida River meets the Boyd River here near these remnants from an old bridge. We didn't try it but I am told that If you put your kayak or canoe in at the bridge you can paddle in one day from here to Ramornie on the Gwidyr Highway with mostly flat water and a few grade I-II rapids.
