UK and Europe Roadtrip - Aladzha Monastery

Aladzha is a Persian/Arabic word for variegated referring to the striped rockface I guess. The Catacombs are a further 600m along the cliff and archeological digs have found coins and pottery dating back to the 5th and 6th century, showing that people lived there too.
