Bundaberg - Bargara Beach

Bargara is 13 kilometers east of Bundaberg and is one of the more popular beaches in the area. None of the Bundaberg beaches have much in the way of waves to surf on as the area is protected by the Islands (Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave) and reef not far out to sea. The sand in the Bundaberg region is brown and course rather than the white fine sand you find on the Gold Coast.
