Cairns trip - Queensland

The drive north of Cairns to Port Douglas is very scenic as it hugs the coastline. There are a number of places to pull over and enjoy the view. Just north of Cairns, the cliffs, with rising air currents make a perfect spot for hang gliding. A child of about 10 has just launched off the cliff edge in a tandem flight. A birthday present!
