Cairns trip - Queensland

The Hinchinbrook Channel, just north of Ingham, is protected by Hinchinbrook Island (largest National Park Island in the world) and the Cardwell Range. The Channel is a part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area and you may see dugong, dolphin and green turtles. There is no commercial fishing in these waters and a total netting ban which means the fishing is very great for the recreational fisherman.
