Carnarvon Blowholes to Red Bluff

Next day we drove north along the coast stopping first at the HMAS Sydney Memorial Cairn which is on top of the cliffs near Quobba Homestead. All 600 Australians lost their lives in the battle with the German Destroyer 'Cormoran' somewhere between Carnarvon and Geraldton. A life boat from the 'Cormoran' washed ashore just north of here at Red Bluff with some German survivors from the battle.
