El Questro , Wilderness Park, Gibb River Road

The road had not long been opened since the end of the 'wet season'. The main problem we would have to face was the Pentecost River crossing which we didn't have to worry about until after our visit to El Questro (see next album). We had heard the Gibb River Road up to El Questro was in pretty good condition ie a 2WD could manage it. Have a look at the sign up close.
