Photos from inside St Margaret's Church... Many famous people worshipped here including Raleigh and Milton. The altar has 3 panels with the outside two able to fold in on the middle one. All of the panelling and intricately carved woodwork and statues are gilded with a colourfully painted scene. I love the beautiful marble steps and the stained glass windows behind. There are a number of tombs, memorials and windows dedicated to significant persons including King Henry V111 and Catherine of Aragon which date back to 1520.
