A good day trip from here is usually across the Awinya Track or the Woralie Track to visit Eli Creek, The Maheno Wreck, The Pinnacles and stop at Happy Valley for extra supplies. The Wathumba Track north of here has been closed for a while as the creek has moved and made it impassable. It used to be a good day trip across Wathumba to Waddy Point, Champagne Pools, Indian Head and stop at Orchid Beach for supplies.
