Claude Wharten Weir, Gayndah

After a night in Hervey Bay to restock and pick up the caravan we headed west to Gayndah. We decided to try some of the free camps we saw in the Camps Australia book. This is a rest area a couple of minutes north of Gayndah on the Claude Wharten Weir. It is usually stocked with Baramundi but the unusually cold winter this year killed most of them.
