Geike Gorge, The Kimberleys

Geike Gorge National Park has organised boat tours run by the CALM (Conservation & Land Management) officers. There are rules as to when you can launch private boats at the CALM boat ramp and when you are able to be in what they call the 'tour boat zone' which is the first 6km of the gorge. We had from 11am until 1pm to launch the canoe and paddle up passed this zone.
