UK and Europe Roadtrip - Worms

A further 25km and we came to the town of Worms which has played a major role in the history of Germany. In the year 413 it was the capital of the Burgundian Kingdom. [No, I have never heard of that either] Sitting on the Rhine River the city was an important port and this 53m high tower, called Nibelungenturm, was built in 1900 and acted as a city gate.
