UK and Europe Roadtrip - Karlsruhe

The Maxau Rhine Bridges connect Karlsruhe on one side with Wörth on the other. Our free camp was a parking area beside the Rhine River near the bridge which was built around 1966. You can see one of the long cargo boats going under the bridge. The first bridge built at this site was in 1840. Select the photo below to see the rail bridge on the other side.
