UK and Europe Roadtrip - Neidlingen

Neidlingen is in the state of Baden-Württemberg, south-west Germany, but it was formerly part of the Kingdom of Bavaria. The borders moved many times in the 1800s as battles were fought between the French, Germans/Prussians and Austrians. Bavaria is now a state in Germany and its border is about 50km from here. We spotted the ruins of the Russenstein Castle as we made our way to our overnight campspot. Select the photo below to see more of this area.
