UK and Europe Roadtrip - Heimenstein Cave

Some areas inside Heimenstein Cave have quite low headroom so it certainly pays to have a torch. They have gates to stop you coming in here from January to July. I am not sure why but maybe the run off from snow melting could be the issue. On the left you can see where falling water has eroded a large hole in the rock. Select the photo below to see more of the inside of the cave.
