UK and Europe Roadtrip - Blaubeuren

The monks were evicted from the Blaubeuren Monastery during the Reformation in the early 1500s. A Protestant Abbot was appointed and a school opened in the building after that. Over the next century it was alternately in the hands of the catholic monks or the protestants until in 1817 when it became a protestant Seminary and boarding school which remains today.
