UK and Europe Roadtrip - Constance Cathedral

You can see the Sepulchre in more detail on the left. The Triptych, below right, was comissioned by the last Bishop of Constance in the 1520s and forms a winged altar. The central panel shows the crucifixion and the side panels the patron saints, Conrad and Pelagius. Select the photo below to see some of the sculptures and preserved frescos that adorn the walls.
