Glasshouse Mountains - Mt Ngungun

The Glass House Mountains are 30 minutes drive on the west side of the highway and are a series of steep-sided volcanic plugs which dominate the landscape of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We decided we would climb Mt Ngungun (253 m). This is the view of its peak from the car park below. You can see some walkers standing on the ridge - see red arrow - that would be us in an hours time. The walk is 2 hours return.
