Kakadu World Heritage National Park

The wetlands have many birds with the Jabiru being one of the largest. Kakadu's wetlands (floodplains, rivers, billabongs) are recognised internationally for their significance to migratory birds. It is one of the few areas you will still see magpie geese which once occurred throughout eastern and southern Australia.
