Kakadu World Heritage National Park

There are many good examples of rock art here at Ubirr. Animals were often painted to increase their abundance and to ensure a successful hunt, by placing people in touch with the spirit of the animal. The Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre is well worth visiting as it provides a lot of information about the rock art in the area as well as a good insight into the Bininj/Mungguy culture.
