Kangaroo Island, South Australia

The Cape du Couedic Lighthouse was constructed between 1906-1909 and in 1957 the lighthouse was automated with the conversion to acetylene gas operation and at the same time was demanned. In 1974 the lighthouse was converted to electric operation.
