Kangaroo Island, South Australia

The ferry didn't leave until dusk and the Fairy Penguins (now known as Little Penguins - political correctness gone mad!) didn't come out until dusk. This meant we weren't going to see the nightly parade as thousands of penguins heading for the water from their tiny burrows. We were lucky to get a few photos of them in their burrows just before the light faded and we had to get on the ferry home (home being the caravan I guess!).
