Karijini National Park , Hamersley Ranges - WA 2006

Album 32 - Just outside of Karijini National Park is Munjina Gorge so was our first campsite before entering the park. The many gorges and waterfalls are hidden amongst the apparently flat landscape where the rivers have gouged out and eroded the surrounding land. We visited Oxer and Junction Pool Lookouts where we saw Weano, Red, Joffre and Hancock Gorges. We did the Handrail Pool walk along Weano Gorge and the Kermit's Pool walk along Hancock Gorge.
