Karumba on the Gulf to Gregory River Region

Back on the road again - flat, straight, low level sparse vegetation and many termite mounds. We were lucky we didn't have to pass too many road trains as you can see it is bitumen but only single lane. We just pull right off the road and let them pass. Here the soil is still moist enough not to create much dust but later on the road into Lawn Hill Gorge we were blinded for over a minute by the dust the road train created..
