Lawn Hill Gorge, Boodjamilla National Park

We arrived and set up camp quite early as we had only come 100km from Gregory River. You can camp just15m from the river bank and it is nice and shady with grassed areas - not what you would expect in this dry hot part of Queensland. It seems like an oasis in the middle of the desert and is quite cool here with MANY birds.
