Lawn Hill Gorge, Boodjamilla National Park

We were able to get quite close to it so it was obviously pretty used to people canoeing past. It kept a watchful eye on us though ready to escape into the water if we looked like annoying it. They only eat things about the size of your thumb as their snout is quite narrow so as long as you don't annoy them they will not worry you. It is safe to swim in the creek - just don't approach to crocodiles as they can become aggressive if disturbed.
