UK and Europe Roadtrip - Starkenbach

We passed through many tunnels and were rewarded with amazing views as we travelled towards Starkenbach. Old castle ruins on tops of cliffs was not an unusal sight. The once powerful and proud aristocratic family of Starkenberger left a string of castles and palaces dotted around this region. Now the 'Starkenberger' is best known as a Bavarian beer which is the most-awarded beer of Austria. Select the photo below to see one of the tunnels.
