UK and Europe Roadtrip - Germany Border

Luckily we had some hot air balloons to watch as we waited at the Austria/Germany checkpoint. As we had been driving along Lake Achen we had seen around 20 of them. We are not quite sure what the holdup was here, as most borders were unmanned and nobody checked passports. Once we made it into Germany it was only a short time before the roads wound back into Austria once more.
