Brisbane to Melbourne Roadtrip

We came back out on the coast just north of Geelong and decided to have a quick look at Avalon Beach. It sounded nice but... It lies on the north side of Corio Bay and there is a foreshore reserve and a number of houses, fishing shacks and numerous jetties and rock groynes across the low beach.
