Brisbane to Melbourne Roadtrip

Bendigo continues to have the second highest producing goldfield in Australia and remains the seventh largest in the world. This poppet head was erected in 1931 and is now used as a lookout tower. It was shifted from the Garden Gully United mine. We climbed to the top for the impressive views over Bendigo.
