Brisbane to Melbourne Roadtrip

We decided it was time to move on so headed east again along the Murray Valley Highway. We crossed into New South Wales again at the twin towns of Yarrawonga and Mulwala. There were miles and miles of dead trees that were flooded by the water held back by the Yarrawonga Weir forming Lake Mulwala. It is the largest of the sixteen weirs on the Murray River and the point of greatest diversion along the Murray River. Having seen the other end of the Murray where it trickles into the ocean in South Australia, you have to wonder.... See part 7 of the roadtrip...
