Murray River to Second Valley, SA

We skirted around Lake Alexandrina then across the Mount Lofty Ranges to the west coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. We crossed the Heyson Walking Trail again as it passed through forests and farmlands - very picturesque scenery. We stopped here at Rapid Bay which seems to be deserted in winter.There was only one other camper in the campground (right on the beach) and none of the holiday houses seemed occupied. I am sure it is a different story in summer. This large cave was at the end of the rocky beach.
