Auckland to Cape Reinga, New Zealand

After our morning walk we headed back inland to join the State Highway and then north to Kawakawa to see what all the fuss was about with the public toilets there! They call it the Hundertwasser Toilets after Frederick Hundertwasser who lived here for 25 years. Certainly worth a stop. The toilets are decorated with coloured tiles with all sorts of shapes and angles making an amazing mozaic. Crooked beauty!
