Inland Scenic Route From Rakaia River to Lake Tekapo

The Inland Scenic Route is aptly named. We followed the chain of snow dusted mountains, the foothills of the Southern Alps,  as our back drop to the autumn coloured trees lining the road. Coming from Queensland, Australia, this is a real novelty.
