Invercargill to Fiordland to Milford, New Zealand Trip

The fiord narrowed as we approached Dale Point on the right. This marks the northern point of the entrance to Milford Sound. From the open ocean it is nearly impossible to see the opening so Milford Sound went unnoticed by whalers and other ships for many years. Select the photo below to see more of this area.
