Haast to Greymouth, New Zealand

The powder blue ice of the glacier is dusted with the grey of the pulverised rocks it carves its way through as it moves from the high alps in Westland National Park down steep valleys. Glaciers are normally found amongst mountain peaks and rarely do you find the ice reaching down into a forest at such low altitudes like it does here in New Zealand.
